Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be working with this North East Data Analysis and Compliance agency. This ever growing business is in need of a Data Analyst.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role? 

• A high degree of expertise in Mircrosoft POWER BI? 

We are looking for a person who has experience of Data Management, Data Modelling, Cleaning and enrichment. Who has an understanding of and the ability to apply statistical methodologies and date analysis techniques . 

The team of Data Analysts play an important role in the business as they provide crucial services to the Clients particularly around delivering bespoke data insight and analytics solutions.  

The Data Analysts primary goal is to help clients become more ‘data driven’ by creating an insights-driven culture based on high quality data sets. The role holders main responsibilities are to:  

• Develop working relationships with clients to understand their business and the challenges they wish to overcome through the effective use of data  

• Clearly define and document client problem statements, accurately assess implementation stages and a timeline for delivery   
• Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools)  
• Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems and data sources  
• Manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data  
• Manipulate and link different data sets  

• Summarise and present data, insight and conclusions in the most appropriate format for clients  
• Apply GDPR and Data Protection legislation and Information Security standards throughout each project   
• Support the ongoing development of the client’s data architecture
