If so, Gillespie Recruitment would like to hear from you! We are working with one of the leading care providers in the UK. They are looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to join their leadership team.
Our client provides residential and nursing care services to the elderly across the UK. Each care home is an extended family, bringing together residents and their loved ones, their colleagues in care, clinicians, hairdressers, commissioners and CQC regulators, members of the local community – the list goes on. They are focussed on creating a warm and inclusive environment in which their residents feel a sense of security and belonging, while at the same time retaining their dignity and self-respect.
Closely supporting the Registered Home Manager, the Deputy Home Manager is responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans. The successful individual will play a pivotal role in the team leadership. Part of this role will be to support in devising rotas, oversee training and conducting supervisions, you will be a key part delivering a wonderful service to our residents.
The successful candidate will –
- Have a minimum of a Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
- Experience of working in the health care sector
- Be driven, motivated and believe in quality of care
- Possess strong leadership and management qualities whilst taking on a dynamic and flexible approach to the role
