Management Accountant

Salary: £30000 - £35000 p/a

Location: Sunderland

Job Type: Permanent

Gillespie Recruitment are looking to speak to experienced Management Accountants on behalf of our client, a well-established business situated in the heart of Sunderland.  

This is a great opportunity to join a small friendly team, supporting with the management of accounts.  

The role will involve – 

Processing invoices 

Creating company profit and loss reports in a timely manner 

Ensuring commission reports are created each month 

Working with data on Microsoft excel, using formulas 

Inputting transactions onto Sage 50 

Reconciling client accounts 

Bank reconciliations 

Our client is looking for the following for a Management Accountant candidate – 

ACA/ACCA Qualified or qualified by experience 

 Significant experience working in industry. Preferably in the utility brokerage sector 

 Experience of preparing management reports 

 Significant experience with Sage 50 

 Experience of reconciling banks, posting sales/ purchases invoices, wages, VAT 

 Experience of creating and implementing new systems/ processes
