Our client is a North East charity who are dedicated to supporting and improving mental health and well-being. As part of their ongoing commitment to effective service delivery they are looking to recruit a Data Officer to join their organisation.
As the Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing, analysing and securing data which will support the charities services. The role involves you to work closely with various teams to ensure data is accurate, insightful and compliant.
The responsibilities include:
- Proactively work with the Senior Management team to ensure that information supports decision-making requirements.
- Support service development by ensuring data capture and flows are built into service specifications to enable effective analysis and reporting of activity.
- Comply with all information governance requirements, including the General Data Protection Regulations.
- Managing data integrity and ensuring data is accurate.
- Extract and collate information from a variety of internal sources.
- Interpret and analyse varied amounts of data to provide accessible, meaningful and understandable information for a broad spectrum of users.
- Supporting colleagues to use information reporting tools, including writing and providing training materials, and using a variety of methods to deliver training to users.
About You
Are you a motivated Data Officer with experience of working in a charity organisation setting?
If this sounds like you, we really want to hear from you.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Data or Statistical management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft access database and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills
