The Role: Deputy Care Home Manager

As the Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager by providing leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of all home functions. You will oversee services in alignment with standards set by the Registered Manager, adhering to legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and best practices. Additionally, you will work within the financial plans established with the Registered Manager, with a particular emphasis on clinical services.

As part of their expansion, they’re recruiting a Deputy Care Home Manager to join their dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Support: Assist the Registered Manager in leading and managing all aspects of the home.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure services are delivered in accordance with established standards, legislative requirements, and best practices.
  • Financial Management: Operate within the financial plans agreed upon with the Registered Manager.
  • Clinical Focus: Concentrate on overseeing and enhancing clinical services within the home.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in clinical services.
  • Registered Nurse: Current nursing registration and professional credentials.
  • Effective Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate confidently, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

  • Motivational Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a diverse team to achieve high standards of care.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, residents, and other visitors.
