Gillespie Recruitment is thrilled to partner with an International Energy Procurement Specialist, the largest energy consultancy in Europe, that is leading the way in energy consultancy and helping businesses make informed decisions about their energy consumption.
As part of their expansion, they’re recruiting a Management Accountant, to join their dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of the monthly management accounts for various entities within agreed timescales as set out within the team’s objectives using P&Ls and analysis.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues.
- Monthly reporting of key KPIs
- Fixed asset capitalisation.
- Processing and submission of UK and Maltese quarterly VAT returns and EC sales list.
- Provide advice to the purchase ledger department regarding invoice coding.
- Operate and improve internal controls within the finance function.
Key Criteria:
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience of SAP by design.
- Experience of producing management account packs to tight deadlines.
- Flexible mindset and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards.
