About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive person-centred care that enhances their wellbeing. You will be responsible for supporting and supervising the care team during night shifts, ensuring the smooth running of the service and maintaining compliance with CQC standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring residents’ wishes and preferences are at the heart of care delivery.

Supervising care staff and leading by example to promote best practices.

Overseeing medication management and maintaining accurate records.

Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families.

Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all residents.
About You
We’re looking for a natural leader with strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional care.
You will need:

Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Care Team Leader.

Knowledge of medication administration and CQC compliance.

A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

Compassion, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Relevant health and social care qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable.
