The Opportunity
From the first enquiry through to the final farewell, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every wedding and event runs seamlessly.
You’ll be the main point of contact for couples, event organisers and guests, guiding them through every stage of their journey and ensuring each event exceeds expectations.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine excellent customer service, organisation and sales skills to deliver unforgettable experiences while helping to drive event bookings and venue revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage weddings and events from initial enquiry through to completion
- Meet with prospective clients to discuss requirements and showcase event opportunities
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts and event schedules
- Build strong relationships with couples, guests, suppliers and event organisers
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth event delivery
- Oversee event set-up and provide on-the-day support
- Handle enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Identify opportunities to enhance packages and maximise revenue
- Maintain accurate records, event documentation and booking details
- Support wedding and events marketing initiatives
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines outstanding customer service with strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for events.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience coordinating weddings, events or functions
- Experience within hospitality, hotels, leisure or venue-based environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, positive and professional approach
- Commercial awareness and confidence converting enquiries into bookings
- Good IT skills and experience using booking, CRM or event management systems
You’ll also be comfortable working some evenings, weekends and peak event periods when required.
