This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a busy and highly respected service supporting children and families to maintain positive relationships in a safe and structured environment.
The Role
You will coordinate the day-to-day running of the Child Contact Centre while leading a small team of sessional staff.
This role combines leadership, safeguarding, and direct family support, working with individuals experiencing complex and sensitive circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the contact centre
- Lead, support, and supervise sessional staff
- Ensure safe, high-quality contact sessions
- Work directly with families in complex situations
- Manage safeguarding and risk effectively
- Build strong relationships with families and partner agencies
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Social Care, or similar
- Experience in family support, social care, or related field
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Confident working with complex family dynamics
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
Working Pattern
- 35 hours per week
- Alternate weekends (9am–6pm)
- Flexible midweek hours
